Hoi An; Jackfruit Thornkiss

I was in Hoi-an, Vietnam, last year feeling sorry for myself because my adventures were drawing to a close. Just I was reaching the depths of the Long Dark Teatime of the Soul a head popped through the window of the cafe I was in. Its regular Vietnamese face asked in a strong American accent if I wanted to be an extra in a film. Well, I admit I declined but upon reflection I realised this was the kind of random event I had left Australia for. So I went looking for that head. I found it just around the next corner. It had acquired a body, a full film crew and crowd of on lookers. I sat on the opposite side of the canal waiting for my scene. I had to pretend to apreciate and buy some drawings from the lead actress. Her name currently eludes me but I'm told she is a great Vietnamese beauty.
